NOTICE TO BIDDERS
March 15, 2017


Sealed bids will be received by the City of Manhattan, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas, until 3 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will be returned to the bidder unopened. These bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and performing all the work in accordance with the drawings and specifications for:

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
RILEY COUNTY SENIORS' SERVICE CENTER
PHASE 3 KITCHEN IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT No. CD1616/12.01-03


The project will include but not be limited to demolition of the existing kitchen, electrical, plumbing and partial partitioning, finishes and scheduled equipment, installation of new finishes, equipment, electrical and plumbing to accommodate new equipment.

TIME LIMIT: As shown by contractor on bid proposal form, but completion no later than September 1, 2017.

This project is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Rates and Section 3 Requirements. Contractors must supply their DUNS number on the Bid Proposal and Contractor with apparent low bid must be registered in SAM.gov before Award of Bid.

A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Riley County Seniors’ Service Center, 301 North 4th Street, Manhattan, KS.
