Furniture Amnesty Day is an annual event that allows local residents to donate furniture they no longer need so others can select from the donated goods for free. This event helps find new homes for hundreds of pieces of furniture

Request Furniture Pickup

To request up to five (5) pieces of furniture be picked up from your residence, please fill out this form.

Please note: All furniture items need to be placed outside, in front of your residence, by 7:00 a.m. on Friday, July 28 for volunteers to pick up. Volunteers will not pick up any furniture that is inside your home!

Sign Up to Pick Out New-to-You Furniture

Sign up will begin at 8:00 a.m. at City Park on the day of the event. You will be able to choose a time slot between 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to pick out your furniture. No additional paperwork is needed.

Assignments to pick furniture will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Any furniture left after 4 p.m. is open to the general public.

Please note: Volunteers can help load furniture into vehicles, but participants will need to arrange their own method of transport.

This program is intended to provide a free way for you to dispose of unwanted furniture. If you leave it on the curb, it could be considered a nuisance by our Code Services department. Local trash companies generally will not pick up furniture on their regular routes.
