Deferred Compensation (457 Plan)

The city offers its employees the opportunity of participating in three deferred compensation plans. The purpose of each of these plans is to encourage employees to save on a pre-tax basis and to build a financial reserve for retirement. Contributions to the plans are made through payroll deduction.

The plans offered are the International City/County Management Association Retirement Corporation (ICMA-RC), KPERS457 and Nationwide Retirement Solutions.
