On Wednesday, May 16, 2018, you are invited to join the Flint Hills Regional Council (FHRC) in Manhattan, Kansas for an action-packed day of speakers and insightful discussion.
Representatives from Fort Riley and Kansas State University will be speaking on regional impacts, and Mike Harvey from Northwest Arkansas Council will be giving the keynote speech on regionalism. The conference will also include afternoon breakout sessions regarding topics such as tourism in the Flint Hills, workforce needs in the region, healthcare, mental health, the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) and much more. This will be a great opportunity to collaborate and discuss regional topics with elected and local officials from the Flint Hills.

The conference will be held at the Manhattan Conference Center in the Hilton Garden Inn. All conference proceeds will go to the Flint Hills Regional Council, dedicated to enhancing economic viability and improving quality of life through regional collaboration in the Flint Hills.
