Manhattan City Commissioners voted 3 to 2 to extend the ordinance requiring masks or other face coverings in city limits at their meeting on Tuesday, September 2. The mask ordinance will remain in effect until December 31. Ordinance No. 7498 extended the use of face coverings until December 31. The Riley County Police Department (RCOD) will continue to field complaints of ordinance violations by email at masks@rileycountypolice.org. Do not call 911 to report a violation of the ordinance.
