The City of Manhattan is requesting proposals from qualified organizations for the provision of public service activities beginning July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.
Approximately $84,000 will be provided to the City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, to fund public services benefitting low and moderate income persons, defined by HUD as less than 80% of Riley County Median Family Income or as belonging to Limited Clientele groups.
Public services proposed must either be new activities or expansions of existing activities.

Proposal applications are due by 5:00 pm on November 22, 2010 to the Community Development Department, 2nd Floor City Hall.
