NOTICE TO BIDDERS
September 1st 2019
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Manhattan, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas, until 3:00pm on Tuesday October 1st 2019, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will be returned to the bidder unopened. These bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and performing all the Work in accordance with the drawings and specifications for:
PEACE MEMORIAL ROOF REPLACEMENT
The project will include but is not limited to the following major categories of work:
- Removal of existing roof membrane, flashing, cover board and drains.
- Install new tapered insulation, cover board, membrane plies, flashing and drains to make a complete roofing system.
- Remove and install two new roof drains.
- Sealing of all roof fasteners, flashing, seams, cracks, roofing connection points and penetrations.
TIME LIMIT: 45 Working Days. The site shall be available for construction between December 15, 2019 and May 15, 2020. All work to be completed by: May 15, 2020.
