NOTICE TO BIDDERS
March 19th, 2022
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Manhattan, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas, until 3:30 P.M., on March 31st, 2022, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will be returned to the bidder unopened. These bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and performing all the Work in accordance with the drawings and specifications for:
DISHMAN LAKE SEDIMENT DISPOSAL AND SITE RESTORATION
The project will include but is not limited to the following major categories of work:
- Removal, hauling, and disposal of approximately 4,600 Tons of sediment and organic materials from Geotextile Tubing at Dishman Lake located at 801 Anneberg Cir, Manhattan, KS 66503. Sediments are to be transported to Sunrise Cemetery located at 2901 Stagg Hill Rd, Manhattan, KS 66502 for disposal.
- Disposal of Geotextile Tubing
- Site restoration of up to 1 acre of land including final grading, aeration, and seeding.
Work to be completed within 30 calendar days of Notice to Proceed with a final completion date no later than 06/27/2022
