The Manhattan Area Recovery Task Force will meet on Friday, May 1, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. Due to precautions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, City Hall has been temporarily closed to the public. This meeting will be held via video conference with the Co-Chairs and the 24 members of the Manhattan Area Recovery Task Force participating remotely. This is the second meeting of the Recovery Task Force, which is charged to help the Manhattan Community move forward when the Governor’s Stay-at-home order is lifted by “developing a measured and phased path forward for our community.” The agenda for the Recovery Task Force meeting will be to review the Governor’s Latest Order that is to be released tonight and then provide recommendations on how Riley County can address the Governor’s pending new order and safely begin to open businesses and activities throughout the Manhattan area. Live public comment during the meeting will not be permitted.
