  1. Manhattan Area Recovery Task Force Meeting

    Due to precautions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, City Hall has been temporarily closed to the public. This meeting will be held via video conference with the Co-Chairs and the 24 members of the Manhattan Area Recovery Task Force participating remotely. This is the fourth meeting of the Recovery Task Force, which is charged to help the Manhattan Area move forward with the recent lifting of the Governor’s Stay-at-home order by “developing a measured and phased path forward for our community.” The agenda for the Recovery Task Force meeting will be to review Phase II of the local reopening order beginning May 18 and how the implementation is working, plus discuss a draft Business Guideline Self Check List. There will also be an update from the Convention & Visitors Bureau about how hotels are addressing bookings and future conventions planned in Manhattan. Live public comment during the meeting will not be permitted.

    The purpose of the Douglass Center Advisory Board is to make recommendations to the City Commission regarding the operation of the Douglass Community Center. In addition, the board recommends an annual budget for the operation of the Douglass Center, advises the City Commission regarding the scope and content of programs to be initiated at Douglass Center, advises the City Commission regarding staff of the Douglass Center, and submits monthly and annual reports to the City Commission regarding operations of the Douglass Center.

  3. CANCELED-Special Alcohol Fund Advisory Committee

    The purpose of the Special Alcohol Funds Advisory Committee is to solicit proposals for the use of the funds in the city's Special Alcohol Fund. The committee evaluates the proposals to ensure conformance to community objectives and helps to secure the coordination of the programs and services dealing with the abuse of alcohol and drugs that may now or in the future be provided by existing or new public, nonprofit and private agencies. Also, the committee evaluates the quality of the programs provided through the assistance of these funds.
