The Manhattan Area Recovery Task Force will meet on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. Due to precautions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, City Hall has been temporarily closed to the public. This meeting will be held via video conference with the Co-Chairs and the 24 members of the Manhattan Area Recovery Task Force participating remotely. This is the sixth meeting of the Recovery Task Force, which is charged to help the Manhattan Area move forward under the Governor’s Reopening Plan by “developing a measured and phased path forward for our community.” The agenda for the Recovery Task Force meeting will be to review the local health officer order, now that the Governor has concluded the Reopening Plan, plus discuss any recommendations the Task Force might want to provide the Local Health Officer, should the community see a rise in positive COVID 19 cases, without shutting down all businesses again. Live public comment during the meeting will not be permitted.
