Exterior Ceiling Inspections Required
Framing of rafters or trusses for a porch or deck roof, including rafter or truss to top plate connection, must be inspected prior to being covered.
Load path for post connection to beam, and required mechanical fastener(s), must be inspected prior to being covered.
Please request an “exterior ceiling” inspection when calling to schedule. This is a separate inspection type from a framing rough.
Given the differing time frames of the installation of siding and soffit material, vs the post to beam connection, two separate inspections may be required.
